Cedar Beard Oil is a light conditioning oil for facial hair — it softens coarse whiskers, keeps the beard smooth, and leaves a subtle woodsy scent.

What's In It

  • Sweet almond oil and castor seed oil to condition and soften.
  • Rice bran oil for a smooth, non-greasy finish.
  • Cedar for a clean, woodsy scent — warm and dry rather than sweet.

How to Use It

Use three to five drops for a short beard and more as length increases. Warm the oil between your palms, work it through the beard from the skin outward, then comb it through so it spreads evenly. It goes on best on a clean beard that has been towel-dried and is still slightly damp — soaking wet hair dilutes it and bone-dry hair absorbs it unevenly. Daily is fine.

Cedar or Sandalwood?

Same oil, different scent: cedar is dry and woodsy, sandalwood is warmer and a little sweeter. Pick by the scent you would rather wear all day — everything else about the two is the same.

Joseph U. ★★★★★

The scent is exactly what I wanted—subtle cedar, not overpowering—and the sweet almond oil base feels light enough for daily use. My coarse whiskers have softened noticeably after two weeks, and it doesn’t leave any greasy residue on my pillow.

My beard used to feel like steel wool by mid-afternoon, but a few drops of this after my shower and it stays soft until bedtime. The sweet almond oil base is light enough that it doesn't leave my pillow greasy, and the woodsy smell fades to a faint hint rather than shouting.

Christopher X. ★★★★★

The cedar scent is exactly what I wanted—woody but not overpowering, and it fades to just a hint by midday. My chin hair used to feel like wire brush bristles, but after a week of this stuff it's noticeably softer, and the sweet almond oil makes it easy to rub in without any greasy residue.
