Beard Shampoo

Beard shampoo is not the same thing as the shampoo you use on your head. Ours is a hybrid of face wash and hair shampoo, built for facial hair: it lathers well, rinses clean, and cleanses without stripping the natural oils in your beard and the skin underneath it. Beard care is skincare, after all.

What It Is

• A dedicated beard wash. Formulated for facial hair rather than scalp hair, and mild enough for every beard length.
• Moisturizing ingredients. Shea butter, coconut oil, and jojoba hydrate and condition while it washes.
• Sulfate-free and paraben-free. A gentle cleanser, made for regular use on the face.

How to Use It

Wet your beard, work a small amount through it with your fingers all the way down to the skin, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with beard conditioner, and finish with a few drops of beard oil once your beard is towel-dry. Two or three washes a week suits most beards; adjust up or down depending on how oily your skin runs.

Where It Fits

Cleansing is the first step of the routine, and the one everything else depends on. Conditioner, oil, and balm all sit better on a beard that is genuinely clean and free of product buildup.
